Alpla is an international manufacturing company that specializes in molded bottles and caps, injection-molded parts, preforms and tubes. Hunt Electric recently completed work on their processing facility located in Salt Lake City. Our team worked directly with the Owner to provide an electrical system for their European equipment and an electrical design that would be compatible with their processing needs. Our scope included (2) 3000A service feeds to ALPLA for multiple production lines, installation of an emergency back-up generator, and power distribution for multiple production lines for future expansion. Most of the equipment was based on a 400V 3 phase power source which was provided with 480V to 400V transformers.
