Hunt Electric built a customized control van for Bolinder’s crusher plant on Stansbury Island, including delivery, set up and commissioning. The customer wanted to get the van set up and running for 30 days, and then do an upgrade onsite with additional motor control and large drives. The timeline for this project was critical for shut down and restart. Due to the remote location our team had to have impeccable planning to make sure all components and materials were onsite for the planned upgrade, minimizing the shutdown period and allowing for the existing plant to continue operation.
