Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine AV

Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine specializes in cutting-edge medical education, using technology to enhance students' engagement in the classroom. To get this technology up and running, Hunt’s Technology Division thought outside the box to help create a unique educational experience.

As part of its unique educational approach, Noorda employs high-tech learning pods for its students rather than traditional lecture halls. Hunt’s Technology Division fitted these pods with individual AV systems, including brand-new TVs and speaker systems. The pods are equipped with HDMI connections to promote collaboration between students and central control panels so students can direct the use of the AV systems. The ability to control lecture videos and interact with modules through the new AV set-up enables students to fully customize their learning experience.

Our Technology Division outfitted Noorda’s state-of-the-art anatomy labs with equally state-of-the-art technology. The labs have individual learning areas equipped with their own AV systems. Next to each lab station, Hunt installed a large touchscreen TV and control panel for students to engage directly in lecture content and interact with anatomical diagrams.

Noorda’s AV capabilities keep it ahead of the curve regarding emerging technologies. With Hunt Electric’s technology setup, Noorda can integrate new technologies and techniques into their courses and stay at the forefront of osteopathic education.
