Prefabrication
Electrical Prefabrication Shortens Schedules and Increases Quality
Hunt’s electrical prefabrication team assembles electrical components in our weather and climate-controlled warehouse instead of building them on a job site. This improves quality, saves time, and alleviates delays caused by the shortage of tradespeople by delegating assembly tasks to our prefabricating team and freeing tradespeople to do the more complex work. Journeyman electricians oversee the production work to ensure the highest levels of quality and code compliance.
Our prefabrication department has been at the forefront of the industry for more than 14 years. The team takes direction from the project manager and the foreman and works closely with the preconstruction department. This collaboration enables the prefabrication team to evaluate the project’s scope, schedule, and drawings to determine exactly what kind of components to produce and when to deliver them to the jobsite.
The electrical prefabrication department uses several tools to increase project efficiencies and reduce costs.
- Pre-assembled Kits
- Collaboration with our Preconstruction Department
- Just-in-Time Delivery
- Look Ahead Schedule
When Hunt’s prefabrication team manufactures electrical components in our controlled facility, it gives the project several advantages in the construction phase.
Hunt’s prefabrication team helps you make the most of your project’s time and resources.
