In an effort to reduce their electrical consumption and be more resilient during unpredictable electrical power outages, Hill Air Force Base has installed a new ground mount solar array. Hunt Electric was contracted by CS Energy to execute the installation of all electrical components for the system. The expertise of our High Voltage Division was also utilized to install MV Poles and all medium voltage equipment. The array was installed through an energy savings performance contract, which means there is no upfront costs to the government. Construction and design also allow for system expansion and the capability to add an electric storage system in the future if needed.
