Phase II of the PV system is designed to offset 3.5 of the electrical load of the warehouse building at USANA Health Sciences in West Valley City, UT. Phase II’s DC rating is 146.8kW and the total DC size of the roof-top system is 181.6kW. The system is designed to be compliant with the Buy American Provision of ARRA. The PV system consists of (612) 240 watt solar modules that are mounted on a custom-designed penetrated racking system. The module racking system was designed to minimize penetrations and maximize generation efficiencies. The racking system mounts three modules high in the landscape orientation.
