Hunt Electric performed the decommission, move and recommission of the existing 46kV to 13.8 kV substation located at the 6880 level of the mine. Our scope also included the construction of new ground grid, new fencing and new 100’ wood pole. The team also installed a 46kV transformer, assembled a 13.8 kV breaker, reconnected and tested the substation. This project also includes the construction of new a 46 kV line for 1 mile to feed the substation with 90–120’ 2 and 3 pole transmission structures.
