Hunt Electric performed the decommission, move and recommission of an existing 46kV to 13.8 kV substation located near the mine cone crusher. Our scope included the removal of fencing and an overhead 120’ pole feeding substation, and all cabling. The team also transported a 46 kV transformer to new location, constructed a new ground grid, new fencing and a new 100’ wood pole. We also assembled the 46kV transformer and 13.8 kV breaker, reconnected and tested the substation.
