Hunt Electric, while working with Santa Clara City Power pulled and connected over one mile of 69 kV conductor and OPGW fiber. The project was completed in less than two weeks with unique complexities including over 900 feet of spanning over desert canyons and crossing energized power lines. This work was done in temperatures that reached 110 degrees Fahrenheit and came in two weeks ahead of schedule. This line was built to provide additional transmission capacity for the community.
